Overall the tour was amazing! I do want to give you credit for our tour guides, hotels & most meals. One thing though that didn't sit well with me is the fact the you give false reassurance that if we buy something you'll be more than happy to take it back. Just a fair warning to future travelers not to take their promises too seriously & don't buy the pearls!

We learned about Nexus Holidays while attending the Washington DC travel show. Our journey began with excellent and professional customer service from our travel consultant Grace Sang. Grace was always prompt in responding to our inquiries and remained courteous throughout. She is a expert travel consultant. Everything about the 13 days journey was excellent with minor obstacles which are not reflective of the service provided by Nexus Holidays and it travel consultants and tour guides. We were greeted in each city with amazing professionalism and courteous service. Our hotels and meals met if not exceeded our expectations. The only issues we experienced were 1) being placed initially in a smoking room and being told there were no other rooms available but with persistence from our travel guide was eventually moved to another room only to find that it was a smoking room as well. We were eventually moved to a non-smoking room. The staff nor management display much effort to resolve the issue 2) the air conditioning went out. We were initially told that there no other rooms nor was there a mechanical on duty. Our travel guide followed-up with the hotel throughout the day and upon returning to the hotel in the evening arrived and was placed in a different room. Neither of these things negatively affected my experience. Each of our tour guides and drivers were exceptional and true professionals. Each added to our experience and made it more valuable. Each ensure that all of our needs were met and went out of their way to enhance our journey in China. The trip was amazing! The kids had a fabulous time, and yes, it was the trip of a lifetime! Nexus Holidays was a terrific company to travel through, and we will absolutely be using your services again! The kids had many high points of their trip, many loved the Wall, others really liked meeting people, some liked the busy modernization of Shanghai. As for me, a teacher who has traveled to China before, my highlight was seeing the kids be excited and learn while having wonderful experiences. We had a wonderful trip, the meals were so lovely and our hotel so nice. The tour guides were first class, too. Most meals we had were exciting with great presentation and artistic flare. I have recommended Nexus to a couple who are interested in a China trip. Thank you for the good experience.

Things are going very well out here, the kids are having a blast and learning a lot. Experiencing such a new culture is an amazing opportunity for them. Fei Fei, our tour guide, has been great. She is patient with our excited kids and has been teaching them a lot about the nuances of Chinese history and culture. Thanks for the phone call the other day to check in. The trip was great! As I reflect on all of the Fam trips taken, I must admit this one out did them all. I love the immersion trip, its the only way to truly experience and appreciate the country. I am still talking about it and my Facebook page visits have increased all of a sudden. Lots of compliments on photos posted I hope this will spark some interest on China and let people know how wonderful the experience is.
